IF YOU LISTEN QUIETLY, YOU CAN HEAR THE STORIES. There is a beauty and mystery to the places one comes across on the caminos, callejones and foot trails. I grew up in an old mining camp in the Colorado Rockies in a 150 year old house. Knowing my grandparents and a great-grandmother who shared stories about the old days has certainly contributed to my interest in these places and instilled in me a love for stories. I'm never content to just capture the image; I need to know the history behind it.
My current oil paintings are on Belgium Linen adhered to birch panel. I like the stability of the panel and the tooth of the course linen. I am drawn to nature and place. Paintings available in my studio and at Wild Hearts Gallery change often, so inquire.
